Patti: 33 years ago at age 19 I made the best decision of my life when I said yes to Jesus. Some cynics say that's just a crutch. I answer that I need one! Life is hard and not always fair. Mistakes are always made and we don't get a do-over. I got pregnant at 17, quit school. Married the father and divorced within months. Got into a sales job and excelled with hard work. Got my GED at age 24 'just because' when I was already President of a large billing company in Fort Wayne, IN. I grew in the knowledge of God attending a church twice weekly and with regular bible study for many years. In the past five years I've lived on both coasts of the U.S. and in the middle. I'm happiest near palm trees and ocean. I can live out of suitcases but I have to have my few pretty things scattered about on the tables and shelves wherever I am, I paint, so I have a bag full of tubes filled with all my colors and an assortment of brushes. I have some longlasting friends who know the real me and love me still! My only daughter Amy, who is now a grown woman with a child of her own, lives in Dallas, TX with my beloved 6 year old grandson, Grant.
